If swimming and seaside strolls are your priority, choose accommodation within walking distance of Saint-Leu's seafront. No need to take the car out first thing in the morning, and it's easy to walk back after sunset or sundowners in a rondavelle (traditional gazebo) overlooking the sea. L'Escale Bleue is a 2-minute walk from the seafront promenade and less than 5 minutes on foot from the beach and the lagoon.

Restaurants, shops and the market are close by: Saint-Leu's town centre makes it easy to holiday independently. Our apartments are right in the centre, at the entrance to the town, in a quiet dead-end street. Each has its own kitchenette, ideal if you like to cook one evening in two or pick up a takeaway for dinner. Breakfast is available as an option in the morning.

Kélonia,the marine turtle observatory, is one of the must-see sights in Saint-Leu. From L'Escale Bleue, allow 10 minutes by car, or half an hour on foot along the coast.

Pastries, fruit salad, coffee, tea, cold cuts, cheese and omelettes made to order, served from 7:30 to 9:30 am for €12.50 per person. It must be booked 24 hours in advance with our team.
